Hey there, I see that you have stumbled upon the EVBite newsletter page. The electric car scene is one that is constnatly growing and evolving. It can be hard to stay up to date with some of the biggest news from the electric world. Lucky for you, there is a little email entry box up there so that you can recieve notifications from us regarding any new electric car news. Pretty simple right?
With that out of the way, let me share some fun facts about newletters with you. Newletters have been around as long as ancient Rome and were used to send information between officials and friends. These newletters evolved in the Middle Ages to act as updates between traders and other merchants. From these beginings, the newletter spawned the newspaper, noth the other way around. Pretty neat right? While this newletter probably won’t give you an update on the price of wheat or the geopolitical strifes of 14th-century France, you can at least expect some news about some cool electric cars. So that’s pretty neat.
I really hope that you have already entered your email. Look at me, giving you a rundown of the inception of newletters and newspapers and you are just going to not even enter in your email? How could you? After all we’ve been through! What more do you want from me? More fun facts?
Did you know that the concept of electric cars has been around since the 1830s? Using batteries as the method of propulsion was considered to a great extent while our forefathers were developing the electric car in the early 1900s. However, gasoline engines won out and it would take over a hundred years before serious effort would be put towards making electric cars viable. And that transition is what brought you here on to our little site.
