The Kia Niro EV (or e-Niro as it’s known in Europe) is looking to be a great contenter in the electric crossover market. With good styling and very good range, Kia might have a winner on their hands. The Niro EV comes with 2 different battery configurations, a 64 kWh option (301 miles WLTP) and a 39.2 kWh option (193 miles WLTP). The Niro EV is currently being released in European and Asian markets. We here in the States will have to wait until 2019 to get it. Hopefully it doesn’t follow the Hyundai Kona EV’s tracks and only being released in a limited manner.
